Trip Information

👶 Age Requirement: The minimum age is 10 years old for diving and 8 years old for snorkeling.

Sightseeing and Wildlife

📸Sightings: The dive sites are chosen by the instructor, taking into account weather and sea conditions, the student/diver's abilities, and their certification. All of our dives take place in sheltered and picturesque locations in the Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Park. Enjoy the trip to discover both the surface and what lies beneath it. The most famous spots are Baía da Armação, Batelão, Pedra do Leão, Ponta da Passagem, and the famous wreck of the cargo ship River Gurara.

🐋Wildlife: During this tour, it's possible to spot birds such as cormorants, herons and swallows. Seabreams, seabass, mackerels, conger eels, moray eels, rays and groupers are just a few examples of the various species of fish you can find. Some species of cephalopod mollusks, such as cuttlefish, squid, and octopus, are also included. A wide variety of algae and seagrass beds fill the seabed and serve as a nursery and shelter for all these species.

Each diving spot is rich and has its own characteristics, whether in terms of the abundance of a particular species or the type of seabed. The biodiversity present in our waters will surprise you.

For sightings of marine mammals and cetaceans, there is a separate tour dedicated to observing them.

What to Bring

Clothing: Weather on the water can be unpredictable—bring comfortable shoes, a warm outer layer, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. In the summer, you can bring cooler clothes and swimwear, as there is the possibility of a swim.

Food & Drinks: Feel free to bring your own food and water. We recommend a reusable bottle of water to minimize the risk of water pollution.
