We can make your dream come true by taking you, your family, or your friends to one of the stunning beaches of the Arrábida Natural Park, which are nearly inaccessible by land. Spend an unforgettable day on a paradise beach of your choice!
Once known as one of the region's main fishing and trading harbours, Portinho da Arrábida is today one of the places not to be forgotten, set in the Serra da Arrábida. Despite its small size, it contains a number of places of interest, such as the Oceanographic Museum of the Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Park, Pedra da Anicha (a zoological landmark and immense biodiversity), Creiro Beach, which is just a few steps away, the Creiro Archaeological Station and Portinho da Arrábida beach itself. Portinho da Arrábida is also known for its restaurants with impressive views over the bay, such as ‘O Farol’, ‘D'u Portinho’ and ‘O Galeão’. You disembark at the Portinho da Arrábida pier and have direct access to the restaurants.
Creiro Beach is a natural extension of Portinho da Arrábida, and stands out for its transparent turquoise-blue waters, a result of the bay’s protection and the high environmental quality of the Arrábida Natural Park. The sand is fine and golden, contrasting with the lush cliffs and Mediterranean vegetation surrounding it. As part of a protected area, the beach retains a wild, untouched feel, free from construction—ideal for those looking to escape mass tourism.
Close to Portinho da Arrábida and Creiro beach, Galapos and Galapinhos are stunning beaches nestled between rugged cliffs and the turquoise waters of the Arrábida coast. Galapos beach offers soft golden sand, calm waters ideal for swimming, and convenient facilities such as lifeguards, sunbeds, a seasonal beach bar, and restrooms during summer. This is one of the most popular beaches in the area and a favorite for families and visitors seeking both beauty and comfort within the protected Arrábida Natural Park. Galapinhos beach, located just beyond Galapos, is a more secluded and unspoiled haven that has earned acclaim as one of Europe’s most beautiful beaches. It is tucked between forested cliffs and lapped by clear, serene waters. Though more tranquil and pristine, Galapinhos still provides seasonal lifeguard presence and a small beach bar, but with fewer facilities and no restrooms.
· Swimming Conditions & Activities: Despite the crystal-clear water, it’s not tropical-warm. In fact, the waters at Portinho da Arrábida, Creiro, Galapos and Galapinhos are chilly, though incredibly beautiful and calm. On hot days, the refreshing temperature will feel just right.
· Calm, sheltered sea: The bay forms a natural pool, perfect for families and children.
· Spacious shoreline: At Creiro Beach, there’s plenty of room for everyone!
· Diving & snorkeling: The clear waters and abundant marine life make Portinho one of Portugal’s best diving spots. Local companies rent equipment and organize diving baptisms!
· Kayaking & paddleboarding: The calm waters make these sports easy to enjoy.

🧭 Constant Monitoring and Support from Our Team
All our vessels meet all safety requirements and equipment to carry out maritime-tourism activities. They are comfortable and safe.
👶 Age Requirement: We don't have a minimum age to attend the tours. We take into account the weather conditions, the type of tour and good judgment to evaluate every situation. Please inform us if you have babies or other special conditions. According to Portuguese laws lap babies count as part of the number of passengers inside of the boat, so even if they don't need a seat they have to have a ticket.
Clothing: Weather on the water can be unpredictable—bring comfortable shoes, a warm outer layer, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. In the summer, you can bring cooler clothes and swimwear, as there is the possibility of a swim.
Food & Drinks: Feel free to bring your own food and water. We recommend a reusable bottle of water to minimize the risk of water pollution.
All our tours are subject to change due to sea and weather conditions. If the necessary safety conditions are not met, the tour will be rebooked or cancelled. If this happens, you will be informed in the 24 hours prior to the activity where we will talk to you to try to find a solution and reschedule. The activity may also be canceled on the same day, in case of fog or unexpected adverse weather conditions. If you are unable to reschedule, you will be given a full refund of the activity.
